Clear evening sky, minimal clouds and modest breezy summer night. While at the pool at the Ritz Carlton hotel, lights appeared in the sky one at a time and initially looked like a shooting star. Eventually 7 lights appeared and “flew” in formation, even making sharp turns at rapid speeds. The objects reduced altitude appearing closer while maintaining a distance of <3 miles offshore from Dorado Beach, Puerto Rico. The objects weren’t falling, they were controlled, coordinated and almost orchestrated in a pattern. After approximately 16-20 minutes, the lights increased altitude for about 1-2 minutes until in an instant “shot” up into the sky out of the atmosphere very very rapidly until completely out of sight. This was witnessed by myself and another person and the events were compared and consistent. Unfortunately this was before iPhones were a staple so no video evidence was taken although there seem to be other confirmed eyewitnesses at the time. Since this occurred so long ago, the exact dates may be different, but it did occur near this timeframe.
