This transpired while on my watch on the USS Gerald R Ford looking out from Pier 11 towards Newport News. I, alongside two other watch standers noticed something off along the skyline, which were two bright white lights above and below each other. The bottom light, flickered on and off before completely going dark, shortly thereafter, the top one began fading out as well. The moment its light faded, in the last second we could see it's dark silhouette, it blitzed upwards in a Northeast direction. Visibility was limited to about 7 miles with the weather conditions being mostly cloudy. All of us felt pretty dumbfounded on what it could be and unfortunately we couldn't make out any details besides the objects giving out a bright light.
